In addition to its outward, philanthropic mission, Philoptochos also works to create opportunities for greater interaction among members of the parish.

Membership Meetings

Monthly meetings provide an opportunity to enjoy a speaker or other presentation, socialize with old friends and new, and learn about current or planned programs that you may want to participate in.

Feast Day of Our Patron Saints

On the Sunday in November nearest the Feast Day of our Patron Saints Cosmas and Damianos, we host coffee hour for all worshippers after Liturgy.

Vasilopita Celebration

To celebrate the Feast Day of St. Basil the Great on January 1, we bake and provide Vasilopita to the congregation and host coffee hour for all worshippers after Liturgy.

Lenten Activities

We host a Lenten Luncheon at the beginning of Lent.
