Restoration Donations

Last year, our community experienced a devastating event when a lightning strike damaged the bell tower of our Cathedral, our central place of worship. In addition to addressing these immediate repairs, it was decided that now was the right time to undertake the much-needed restoration of the entire bell tower structure, including repair to the mortar joints, replacement of the bell tower roof and framing, and replacement of the mahogany wood around the louvers. The total cost of these repairs is approximately $1 million dollars.

The bell tower is only the first part of our restoration efforts. The next phases which include the remaining building envelope will require the same repointing and restoration and is likely to approach $2M plus.

Our beloved St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral has stood as a beacon of hope and faith in our community for decades. This crucial restoration project will preserve and enhance our sacred space for future generations. We ask for your help with this project. Your generous contribution will directly support our restoration efforts.
